Boho Chic: The Denim Vest

I love this outfit! As I've said before leggings are my go-to choice simply because of how comfortable they are and how easy it is to dress them up or down. But my real favorite here is the denim vest. I wear my denim vest so much, probably more than necessary. It adds a casual element to any outfit and goes with just about anything.

Accessories

Antiqued accessories are a great addition to any boho chic look. I fell in love with the antique key necklace the second I saw it. Look for fun & quirky pieces of jewelry that are unique and will make you stand out. Cuff bracelets are another must-have. They are comfortable to wear, make a statement, and don't catch on things like other bracelets do.

These boots are way too fun and the socks are even more fun! Pairing something super feminine (lace & bow boot socks) with something more industrial or masculine looking (lace-up combat boots) softens the harshness and allows your outfit to look balanced.

Pretty in Peach: Colored Skinny

Colored skinnies are a huge trend for fall! If you are unsure about wearing them because you don't know what to wear on top try a neutral top. Lace shirts go really well with pastel colored denim.

Let's Accessorize

Turquoise is a great accent to any outfit, especially with coral or peach. By bringing in another color you brighten up all the neutrals of the outfit. This outfit is best with a nude heel or wedge.

Hair

This is an ombre hair color. To learn more about ombre hairstyles click here. :)

Sassy & Bubbly: Animal Print

Animal prints are great to add to any outfit as a playful accent. These boots were a must-have the second I saw them! Leopard print can be fun as long as it's used in moderation. The key is to not overdo it. Mixing it in with the right jewelry and accessories will give your outfit a polished look.

Accessories

Bubble necklaces are a HUGE trend right now! They add a fun and quirky element to any outfit. Rings are also a fun way to add pizazz to your outfit. I love my lightening bolt ring! The alligator clutch is a great alternative to a purse. It's less bulky and carries just what you need it to! Leopard print shoes are great to finish this look off. Need I say more?

Hair

For this look I pulled half of my hair up and did a fishtail braid. For the tutorial on how to do a half-up fishtail braid click here. This hairdo is great especially if you're going for a boho chic look. Love it!

Classy and Stylish: Leggings & Stripes

Leggings are a great alternative to jeans. They are as comfortable as sweatpants but so much more stylish! If you are afraid to try a striped shirt get one with a baggier silhouette so the stripes don't pull in any problem areas. When wearing a baggier shirt it's always nice to accentuate your waist with some sort of belt so your shape isn't completely lost.

Accessories:

Big statement necklaces are a huge trend right now! Find what you're comfortable with and go with it. They come more extreme than you can imagine, but also come in simple form like the one shown here. Big earrings and bracelets with a little bling always add that little extra umph your outfit needs.

This would definitely be one of my favorite pairs of shoes. They are a little dressy but mostly casual. The high cross band at the top makes them great to wear with leggings. Everyone should own a pair of black heels that are more casual than dressy.

Boho Chic: The Maxi Skirt

This is one of my favorite outfits. Everyone needs a maxi skirt in their closet! They are lightweight, versatile, and let's not forget- super cute! I prefer to dress mine down with a denim vest or denim jacket.

Accessories

When going for a boho chic look the best accessories are gold jewelry and leather. Don't overuse your accessories. When it comes to accessorizing a look like this, less is always more. Keep it simple.

Hair & Makeup

With a look like this I feel like a natural wave is best with a bit of texture. For texture I put a mousse in my hair right out of the shower and then let it air dry. Let mother nature do the work.

As for my makeup, today I had some fun with some blue and purple tones at the corner of the eyelid. I always use a neutral at the base so that it's not too overbearing. I use an angle brush and black powder for eyeliner.
