Rocker Chic: The Sequin Tunic

This tunic was a steal for six bucks at Nordstrom Rack! How could I pass up such a great deal?! The tunic is a very loud statement piece, and therefore should be toned down with neutrals and not a lot of overbearing accessories. Black is always great with anything sparkly and if you don't own a black blazer- go get one right now! Right this second. 

 

 Accessories

To accessorize this I didn't want to overdo it with the sparkles... so I just did a long pair of silver earrings and a black rhinestone bracelet. There is no need for a necklace when you are wearing a sequin shirt. You will blind someone with that much bling. As for the shoes, these are one of my favorites! Yet again, a pair of black boots.. but these are studded! Go invest in a pair of fun, unique shoes that make a statement.

Animal Print: The Accessory Option

 If you don't feel comfortable wearing a large animal print piece or you don't want a look that is so bold, then animal print accessories are the perfect choice. I love animal print scarves! They add a little fun to an otherwise plain outfit. 

Accessories

Yet again, with animal print there isn't really a need for too many accessories. Keep the animal print scarf the main focus. Also, booties are a fun option for fall to vary your boot collection.

Animal Print: The Shirt Option

Another fabulous option when incorporating animal print into your wardrobe is tops. Shirts make a little less of a statement than a printed pant but are still pretty bold. Try to get something lightweight so it doesn't look heavy or too bold. As always, when you have a crazy printed item in your outfit you need to tone everything else down and stick with solids and neutrals.

Accessories

As I mentioned earlier, you don't want to overdo it with too many things going on in your outfit. Keep the accessories simple and neutral so they don't clash with the animal print. A lightweight earring/necklace that catches the light and sparkles is perfect. And of course, my favorite black boots again!

Animal Print: The Jean Option

This week is all about animal print! Animal print is a great thing to add to your wardrobe and there are soooo many options. These snakeskin jeggings are so fabulous to look at and even more fabulously comfy. Pair your animal print with solids so your look isn't too busy. These sheer button-up shirts are a must-have add to your wardrobe. They layer easily and can be dressed up or down.

These pants are so fun and so loud so there really isn't a need for a lot of flashy accessories. I chose just a couple of things that will catch the light and sparkle. These earrings and necklace are simple but sparkly and add the perfect finishing touch! Annnnnnd let's not forget the shoes... I love black boots. Can you ever have too many black boots? I don't think so. I like this pair especially because they are a little bit dressier than your average boot.

Trendy Things: The High-Low Shirt

High-Low Shirts are a huuuuge trend right now! They are great to pair with leggings or skinny jeans. Usually high-low shirts are made kind of boxy, so pair them with a skinny belt at the waist to show off your shape! Another trick that helps is to wear it with some sort of heel so that your legs don't appear shorter than they are. Fun patterns are also a trend you should take advantage of! If you are a little unsure, just pair the pattern with neutral accessories like I did to tone it down.

Accessories for this outfit are super simple because of the loud print of the shirt. I kept everything very neutral: neutral shoes, a neutral belt, and neutral earrings. I threw in some bronzed bracelets to add a little variety.

Fedoras & Fall

Fedoras are an excellent accessory to have. They are perfect for those bad hair days, lazy days, or just to add a fun edge to your look! I wear mine alllll the time. A lot of people ask me, "What do I wear with a fedora?" The answer is ANYTHING. But for something simple just throw on a t-shirt and some jeans. And for even more fun make those jeans colored!

Accessories

The accessories for this outfit are simple. The fedora is the focal point. So don't overpower the outfit with a lot of other accessories. I just put on a beaded red, gold, & black necklace to tie everything in. Throw on some cute boots and you are set!

Chevron Stripes: The Patterned Jean

Patterned jeans are a HUGE trend this fall! I am in love with these chevron striped jeans. They are almost too much fun. Fringe shirts are also a fun thing to add to your wardrobe. 

This outfit is pretty loud by itself. So, there isn't really a need to accessorize it with lots of different items of jewelry and such. My dreamcatcher earrings seemed just funky enough to accent the outfit. I chose to wear a knee-high boot with these pants so that the pattern wasn't too overwhelming.
